The Aqua, Portland

The hotel has a few ups and downs. The rooms had big and soft towels, which was a nice touch, but the small double bed left little space for my belongings. The location was convenient for exploring Portland and Chesil Beach, despite some tired surroundings. The dining experience was unusual for a hotel, with some quality issues but a good breakfast value. Overall, a mixed bag with some standout features.
